MLK Challenge

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Mosaic Templars Cultural Center is challenging YOU to honor Dr. Martin Luther King on January 20, 2020, through participation in a day of service.

Kids and teens ages 12-18 are encouraged to sign up via the form below and participate in this half day of service at a local organization. Volunteers will be divided into service groups, each with a group leader, and transported from MTCC to service sites. Volunteer duties will vary by site. Activities start at 8:30 a.m. at MTCC, and volunteers will return for discussion, to be completed by 3:30 p.m.

For more information, please contact the MTCC education staff at (501) 683-3592.

Please note that some service sites may require physical or outdoor labor and there is a strong possibility participants will get dirty. All participants are advised to wear casual and comfortable attire that is appropriate for doing manual work or getting dirty (e.g., jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts).

Registration for the 2020 MLK Challenge has closed! Thank you to everyone who registered! Our education staff will contact those who registered with instructions by Friday, Jan. 17.
