Annual Events and Programs
Each year Mosaic Templars Cultural Center hosts a variety of signature events that help engage the community in the celebration of African American history and culture in Arkansas. These events are great for both children and adults, and are all free and open to the public.

MLK Challenge
Held annually on Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the MLK Challenge gives youth ages 12 - 18 the opporutnity to continue the legacy of Dr. King through service. Each year approximately 100 participants gather at the museum and depart to a variety of locations throughout the city where volunteers are needed. This program is designed to help youth learn the importance of giving back to the community and the importance of Dr. King's work.

Family Fun Saturdays
Family Fun Saturdays are exiciting and educational programs that parents and children alikie will enjoy. Held a number of times throughout the year, these programs provide a great way for families to spend an afternoon learning and engaging in history through a variety of activities.

Juneteenth
Known as Juneteenth Independence Day, each year, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center hosts an event to celebrate the legacy of freedom for African Americans. This community wide event provides the opporutnity for all cultures to gain an understanding of the signifance of Juneteenth and to participate in a family-friendly celebration.

Boo!seum
Each year, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center participates with other members of the Greater Little Rock Museum Consortium to offer this safe alternative for trick-or-treaters. Fun for families and youth of all ages, this event provides a night of games, crafts, snacks, candy and other goodies. Costumes are always welcome.

Holiday Open House
Open the holiday season at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. This annual event is traditionally held the first Sunday in December, and provides visitors with a one-of-a-kind holiday experience. Join us each year during Holiday Open House with holiday music, cookies, decorations, and more!

K.I.D.S. Volunteer Day
Held numerous times throughout the year, K.I.D.S. Volunteer days help provide youth ages 10 -15 the opportunity to engage in a volunteer project. Activities ranging from potting plants to creating care packages teach participants the importance of community involvement and what it means to give back to those in need.
