Touring the Museum

Touring the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center is a great activity for your family, church group or civic organization. We offer both self-guided and guided tours of the 1st and 3rd floors of the building. The 1st floor includes over 6,000 square feet of dynamic exhibits on Arkansas's African American history and the 3rd floor showcases the Auditorium and the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame.

The MTCC staff requests that you call ahead for groups of more than 10 so we can be prepared for your visit. Better yet schedule a guided tour for your group so we can make sure to have enough staff on hand.

Call the Education Department today at 501.683.3592 to schedule your group tour.

Self-Guided Tours

Want to explore the museum at your own pace? The self-guided tour option is the choice for you. A staff member can provide you or your group with copies of our Museum Map and a brief introduction. Of course, our highly trained staff at the Front Desk can answer any questions you might have about the exhibits, the building, or Arkansas history.

Guided Tours

Looking for an in-depth tour of the exhibit with an expert in Arkansas's African American history? Then a guided tour with one of MTCC's knowledgeable tour guides is the way to go. This is also the perfect option if you have a group of more than 10 and a limited amount of time. The tour guide can provide you or your group with an overview of all the exhibits in about 45 minutes.

Group Programs

Need a guest speaker for your church or civic group? Want to learn more about black fraternal organizations in Arkansas or African American cemeteries and headstone art?

One of our staff members can be a guest speaker at your group meeting or bring your group to the MTCC building for a presentation and program in the Third Floor Auditorium. If your group toured the museum previously but wanted more information, please contact the Education Department at 501.683.3592.
