MTCC hosts MLK Challenge 2016

What: Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, a museum of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, will host MLK Challenge 2016, honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who encouraged that “Everybody can be great because anybody can serve.”

The MLK Challenge is designed to engage youth age 12-18 in the role of servant leadership with a full day of service projects that challenge them mentally and socially. “Our mission is to preserve and celebrate African American history and culture,” said MTCC interim director Quantia Fletcher. “Providing youth with a multi-faceted experience that includes volunteerism and history is a fitting tribute to Dr. King and the unsung heroes who fought for equality for all.”
